Information we collect
Questrise stores the information needed to operate your account and accountability journey. This may include your email address, display name, age-eligibility confirmation, group membership and role, avatar settings, quests, submissions, reflections, proof photos you choose to upload, XP, coins, Health, achievements, rewards, and notification history.
We may also receive limited technical information needed to provide and secure the service, such as authentication events, timestamps, device or network information, and error details. We do not intentionally place passwords, authentication tokens, invite codes, private proof contents, or reflections in application error logs.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, operate groups and solo journeys, assign and review quests, calculate progress, deliver service emails, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the beta.
Who can see information
People in a shared group can see information needed for their role. For example, a Guide can see assigned-player progress and submitted proof, while Players can see their group’s quests and rewards. Do not upload proof or reflections you do not want the appropriate group members to review.
Service providers
Questrise currently uses Supabase for authentication, database, and private proof storage, and Resend for account-related email delivery. These providers process information on our behalf to deliver the service. We do not sell personal information and the beta does not use third-party advertising.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account from the Profile or Group area in the app. Deleting a Guide account does not delete independent Player accounts or their earned progress. You may also contact us for help with access or deletion.
Security and choices
We use reasonable safeguards and restrict private proof access through account and group permissions, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. You can change your password, leave a group, use a solo journey, or delete your account.
Adults only
The current beta is intended only for adults age 18 or older. Family and minor accounts are not yet supported. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Questrise changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
